As a blogger many of my days are spent writing and working solo. I’m constantly connecting with amazing people online through Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Google + -these social media outlets have become my ‘coffee shop’ where I spend my time and where I make many of my personal and business connections. There are days where I truly miss going to an office and having those face-to-face interactions with others, but most days I’m happy where I’m at.
Having said that, there will always be those special times when I have an opportunity to hang in real life with some of my bloggy buddies. This month I have had not one, but two excuses to spend some time with local Boston bloggers and friends. This group of women is about as diverse as you can imagine (which I love), but you’ll find everyone of us constantly tweeting, uploading pics to Instagram and comparing notes on the latest and greatest social media breakthrough.
In honor of Wordless Wednesday I thought I’d share with you a few highlights from our recent holiday parties.
Thank you to Niri of Mommy Niri and Isra of The Frugalette for throwing an amazing family party at the Royal Sonesta in Boston. It was an incredible opportunity for all of us to meet each others families and spend some quality time together.
The food at the Sonesta Boston was spectacular. I forgot the card for my camera so most of these shots were taken with my phone. Not the best quality…
Jennifer from Savoring the Thyme, Niri from Mommy Niri and me.
Party number two was for bloggers only. Thank you to Burtons Grill and Middlesex Common for taking good care of us. And to Alana from The Good Girl Gone Blog-thank you for planning!

This is just a sampling of the fabulous people at the parties. I wish I had the space to give a shout out to everyone and to all the incredible brands that came through to make these events so special. I will give a special thank you to my friends over at Better Life for helping to fill our swag bags at the second party! Everyone went home with one of these.

I have enjoyed every single second I have spent with you over the past 18 months. I wish it was more but will take what I can get.
Thank you for being such a positive spirit.
Oh what a wonderful event! I wish I was closer to Boston so I could see and hug you in person a lot more often.

I was wondering where that delightful soap came from! So great talking with you last night. It really is a special group and love that everyone came to blogging from very different places.

It was a pleasure talking to you the other night. Even if it was for a few minutes. I wish that I was not moving away yet so that I could get to know you all better.

It was a lot of fun Charise. Hopefully I’ll see you at one of the events sometime soon.
I know Kristen-wish we had more time to connect. Best of luck with your move!
It was so nice spending some time with you Emily. I agree-such a wonderful group of people with everyone bringing something very different to the table. We all can learn so much from each other and that’s what makes it work!
What a pleasure to know you Lori and I love that you focused on the networking of bloggers IRL at these events. I feel the camaraderie just by looking at those pics and makes me so glad we have a group to support that.
