It’s Wednesday and all over the internet you will find photos with no words of explanation. Why? Because pictures say a thousand words and today is Wordless Wednesday.
Last week I was on vacation with my family in a small, quaint town in Maine. One of the highlights of the week was the 4th of July parade, which was made up mainly of cars, trucks, cars and more trucks-and a horse and buggy. If you own a car, truck or a horse and buggy you too can be in this parade.
While walking to the parade we came across this repurposed bed frame sitting on a front lawn. Now I understand the literal meaning of “flower bed”. It always amazes me how innovative people can be.
The same home also had gorgeous landscaping.
What’s your favorite repurposing project?

Okay so where in the world would you put this??
I’m not really sure Shane. It’s a pretty big ticket item. Just interesting to see, but I think I’ll leave it there 🙂
I think that if you can prevent something, anything, from going into the landfill and turn it into something beautiful, then more power to you. I’ve seen so many different ideas on Pinterest, and I’m always looking out for something discarded in my neighborhood come trash time. So far no luck, but I’m sure I’ll find something. Thanks for sharing!
Yesterday I saw four burlap sacks, the kind that coffee beans are shipped in, filled with dirt and growing beautiful flowers. It looked both rustic and modern, and I loved it!
Wow, that is quite the upcycled project! So creative with the play on words!
Hi Jordyn, Pinterest is such a fantastic place for recycle projects. Keep your eye open for a bed frame in the trash-now you know what to do with it! Thanks so much for stopping by.
Wow Andrea-that’s such a clever use of burlap bags. Were they in front of a home or business?
I know Sarah-what a creative and interesting project! I certainly caught my attention as I was walking by.
Neither – they were placed there by a non-profit, and I’m guessing the non-profit received the sacks as a donation and wanted to put them to good use. 🙂
Interesting Andrea. Clever idea! Have a great weekend.
I love it! What a great idea!
Interesting idea isn’t it Meg?? Hope your travels are going well.
hahaha… that is pretty awesome. I have to say very creative. And Maine must be really nice during the summer.. I’ve always wanted to visit.
My wife took her unused shoe rack and made it into a workout week scheduler. I’ll put the link down below if you want to see it… I don’t know if you allow links posted or want that.
It’s pretty creative though… she has her clothes all ready to go for the week and her workouts too.

Hi Dan,
Thanks so much for the link to your wife’s workout week scheduler. Very creative! I’m curious-does she use it?? Thanks so much for stopping by.
We always have brass bed frames at home and they are really nice. `
