We could all use the gift of strength & hope during challenging times. When a friend is going through a difficult time we all want to help but, sometimes the right words don’t come to us. I’ve personally been on both the receiving and the giving end of this equation, as I’m sure many of you have.
A few months back I was selected to be a member of the Lunchbox Love Mom Panel. We are a team of women from all over the blogosphere and we’re are committed to showing that positive words can change someone’s day, a life, and eventually the world.
Strength & Hope
Each member of the Lunchbox Love® Mom Panel was asked to nominate a special blogger who has publicly announced he/she is experiencing a difficult time. The bloggers who were nominated each received the “gift” of Strength & Hope, a new line of Lunchbox Love® that launched in early October. Lunchbox Love for Strength and Hope is a collection of 12 credit-card sized notes that help you let your friend know how much they mean to you.
Thanks to the kind folks at Lunchbox Love I received my very own set of Lunchbox Love® for Strength and Hope. The cards are filled with “heartfelt notes and inspiring quotes for the people in your life who need a little lift”.
I happen to know many who are in need of a little lift. I chose to honor my friend Brenna from Almost All the Truth. Brenna has been in and out of the hospital and hasn’t felt well in a very long time. After a long journey one of her latest blog entries says “I am glad I can say I am on the right path and this journey was the right thing to do.” I’m so happy and relieved to hear that she’s on the road to recovery.
The hope of Lunchbox Love is to start a Strength & Hope blogger link that will touch the lives of those who need it most.
